Montevideo athletics golf fund raiser held
The annual golf fund raiser for the Montevideo athletics department was held Monday at The Crossings, with 54 players competing in a four-person scramble.

There was a three-way tie for first place with a score of 17-under-par 55. The winning teams were defending champions Mark Jaspersen, Chuck Vien, Steve Beals, and Dave Vik. They were tied with the teams of Chuck Lee, Bob Kratz, Tom Boike, and Doug Josephson; and Steve Kubista, Doug Strei, Brian Berget, and Kevin McFarland.

Winning prizes for longest drive and putt and closest to the pin contests were Robb Sachariason, Ryan Broich, Bob Kratz, Scott Snobl, Rick Ray, Tom Reeves, Chuck Vien, Nate Oellien, Keith Stratmoen, Dave Baukol and Ben Spaeth.
