Local women hit the links to Rally for the Cure |

group of 79 area women, all outfitted in pink, arranged
themselves in formation duplicating the Rally for the Cure
symbol during the fundraising golf event at The Crossings
Tuesday, Aug. 12. With each golfer's donation of $20 along with
additional donations from non-golfers, the event raised more
than $1,600 for the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer
research. Donations of $20 may still be made by contacting Barb
Huntley at (320) 269-6317. Bob Kruse of Parkview Ford has
pledged an additional $1,000 if a total of at least 100 women
donate to Rally for the Cure. Event organizers wish to thank
local sponsors for donating door prizes and the staff of The
