The Montevideo Ladies and Clarkfield golf leagues ended their
seasons last week. Winners of the ladies league were Sandra Fleming, Janet
Kittelson, Gretchen Reeves and Carol Kubista.
The Clarkfield men’s league had 96 golfers playing regularly on
Thursdays. Darwin Strand and Mark Reidinger were the winners of the
two-man league. Tied for second place were the teams of Eric Schwankl and Kevin
Kittelson, and Jon Mitlyng and Denny Sundlee. Dan Dolan had the low
scoring average for nine holes with an average of 38.6, edging Noah Mann, who
averaged 38.7.
The annual couples and friends tournament was held Sunday.
Winners of the “A” flight were Larry and Jan Wenaas. Bob and Diane Kruse won the
“B” flight.
