Pictures from the Prime Rib / Shrimp Extravaganza - 11/19/2011

On Saturday the 19th, we served over 130 people a prime rib and jumbo shrimp feast.  Thanks to all that took the time to come out and enjoy the evening.  It takes a small army to pull off these evenings; from our outdoor cookers to our ticket sellers making contact with friends and members alike to see if they would like tickets, to our skeleton staff getting the tables and dining room set up on Saturday.  That does not include the wonderful group of ladies that took the time to make a bunch of homemade desserts to share. 

We also want to thank the two men’s day groups that help sponsor the meal; the noon group of Gary Sonstegard, Don Skogrand, Kenny Kittelson, George Kleven, Denny Sundlee and Lonny Tostenson for helping pay for the prime ribs.  The 4 pm group helped defer the cost of the shrimp, and they are: Arly Grages, Dan Dolan, Brian Reinert, Jonathan Schiller and Tim Radermacher.  We also had a small silent auction table for the event with items donated by Gervais’ Jewelry, Jake’s Pizza, Cenex of Montevideo, Food-N-Fuel, Beals’ Optometry, The River Valley Spa of Granite Falls and canned garden items from Tim Radermacher. 

Thanks to all for helping make this event a success.  Please mark your calendars for the last Saturday in April 2012 as we will be having our 3rd Annual Lobster boil that weekend.
